Power Line Clearances

Do you know how high or far away your homes main electrical line or service drop is supposed to be if it is feeding your home through the air and not buried?  This illustration should be used as a guide to better help you determine if your line is too close and need of repair.  Electrical safety is paramount and should be considered at all times.  Always check with your local utility provider before making any changes.  Never touch, move or alter your service drop in any way without a licensed electrician performing the work.
